Class # 9. What do I Really Want ? - Self-isolation time is a great opportunity to take the time to reflect on your life. This is a life coaching strategy session where we explore the various areas of your life and see where you would like to make changes that will lead to a happier and more fulfilling life.

Class # 10. Courageous and Confident + Review - Strategies on how to stay courageous and confident moving forward in the midst of all the  challenges and changes happening in your life. Plus we will do a review of our 10 sessions.

This is your opportunity to learn how to meditate or get back track with your meditation practice, while enjoying having a group of people to meditate with. Tracey will teach you a number of different kinds of meditations and breathing techniques that you can integrate into your life with ease. Meditation and these breathing techniques help you to live a calmer, more focused and happier life.

Each class includes a guided meditation by Tracey, a discussion on how to integrate various breathing techniques into your day and will finish with a guided deep relaxation.

MOUNTAIN MINDFULNESS WEEKEND WORKSHOP

Join Tracey Delfs for a weekend of Mindfulness, Meditation & Yoga

JUNE 13 - 14, 2020

2 day workshop

10:00 - 6:00 Saturday and 10:00 - 4:00 Sunday.

Investment: $257 (plus GST)

This workshop will take place at the beautiful Canmore Opera House (see photo).

This weekend is a great opportunity to experience mindfulness in the mountains.

We’ll start off each day with a gentle flow yoga class (all levels of experience welcome - including beginners), followed by a mindfulness discussion - learning the ‘What, Where, Why, When and How’ of mindfulness and meditation. Next we’ll break for lunch.

Each day after lunch we’ll regroup for a mindful nature walk together. Followed by a combination of meditation, learning various breathing techniques and a guided deep relaxation. The rest of the day will include another mindfulness discussion on mindful self-care strategies and finding more inner peace and happiness.

This weekend workshop is a great opportunity to get back on track with your meditation and mindfulness practices or to begin integrating them into your life. All levels of experience welcome from beginners to advanced practitioners.

Tracey's Zen Master - World renowned Thich Nhat Hanh

Tracey has been teaching mindfulness & meditation over the last 2 decades to employees of numerous corporations, Olympic athletes and to the general public. She has over 75,000 downloads of her online guided meditations.

Since the late 90's Tracey Delfs has been traveling to Europe on a regular basis to study with world renowned Zen Master - Thich Nhat Hanh.  He is often referred by the media as "The Father of Mindfulness" and Oprah has labled him "the calmest man in the World". She has also travelled and studied with other great mindfulness teachers including: Jon Kabat-Zinn (see photo below), Pema Chodron and Sharan Salzberg. Tracey shares wisdom from all of these great teachers when she teaches her mindfulness & meditation classes.

Tracey uses mindfulness and meditation practices taught by Thich Nhat Hanh and her other mindfulness teachers, such as Pema Chodron when she teacher her classes. 

Tracey has taught mindfulness and meditation to thousands of people since she began teaching meditation in 2000. She teaches regular mindfulness meditation classes in her community in Calgary at The Yoga Studio North, weekly workplace mindfulness classes at Shell Canada and Intact Insurance, as well as giving mindfulness presentations to a variety of different workplaces and at conferences. She use to work and travel with a the Canadian National Biathlon, Alpine and Freestyle Olympic teams teaching them meditation and yoga. Now that she has moved to Calgary and isn't travelling as much, she enjoys leading mindfulness & meditation retreats, doing private 1:1 meditation sessions and teaching classes within her community.
